AES Europe 2025

Huseyin Hacihabiboglu (PhD Queen’s University Belfast, 2004) is an  Professor of Signal Processing and the PI of Spatial Audio Reserch Group (SPARG) at METU, Ankara, Turkey. He held research positions at CCSR, University of Surrey (2004-2008) and King’s College London (2008-2010). His current research interests include 6DoF immersive audio, object-based audio, microphone array signal processing, room acoustics and spatial hearing. He is a senior member of the IEEE, a member of the AES, EAA, Turkish Acoustical Society and the UKRI International Peer Review College. He served as Associate Editor of IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio, Speech and Language Processing. He actively contributes to the standardisation activities of MPAI.
