About me
Sebastia V. Amengual Gari is currently a research scientist at Reality Labs Research (Meta) working on room acoustics, spatial audio, and auditory perception. He received a Diploma Degree in Telecommunications with a major in Sound and Image in 2014 from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in 2014, completing his Master’s Thesis at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). His doctoral work at the Detmold University of Music focused on investigating the interaction of room acoustics and live music performance using virtual acoustic environments. His research interests lie in the intersection of audio, perception, and music.
