Program note ‘Telematic City Jam - Warsaw’ explores networked music, quantum computing, and the 4D CubeHarmonic—a digital Rubik’s Cube that enables innovative chord mixing. IBM quantum circuits guide the 4D CubeHarmonic improvisations, intertwined with sonic textures drawn from soundscape recordings of Warsaw, processed voice, cello, piano, trumpet, flute and Web Audio instrument Playsound.space. The Female Laptop Orchestra members stream their musical improvisations from Brazil, Poland, Croatia, and Italy to Slovakia, where the audio is used to drive interactive visuals. By blending silence, noise, music, and visuals, FLO creates an experimental, globally connected audio-visual experience.
FLO members contributing to the creation of the ‘Telematic City Jam - Warsaw’: Nela Brown (HR), Maria Mannone (IT), Magdalena Chudy (PL), Ariane Stolfi (BR) and Silvia Binda Heiserova (SK).
